Use the reader responsibly

Mark & Meter is provided free of charge for personal reading. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you import and for keeping your own backups.

No guarantees

The service is provided as-is. Browser storage limits, unsupported files, device settings, and future browser changes can affect availability. Mark & Meter is not medical advice and does not promise improved reading speed, focus, or comprehension.

Local data and service recovery

Your books, extracted text, and progress remain in your browser; there is no server-side book backup. Keep your own local copies and metadata exports. If the service is unavailable, recovery means redeploying the service, not restoring your books. We do not promise to restore files or reading data.

We may update the reader or these terms as the project evolves. The date above indicates the latest revision.
